Biography

Li Cong, male, born in May 1978, Changchun, Jilin Province.

He received his PhD from Nankai University in Tianjin. Currently, he is an assistant professor and a master supervisor of the School of Philosophy and Sociology of Jilin University.

In 1997, he entered the Department of Philosophy of Jilin University.

In 2001, he entered the Philosophy Department of Jilin University for a master’s degree in religion.

After graduating with a master’s degree in 2004, he stayed on to teach at school.

In 2004, he entered the Philosophy Department of Nankai University to study for a doctorate degree in Chinese Philosophy.

In 2007, he received a PhD in philosophy.

In 2012, he was promoted as an associate professor.


Research Interests

Buddhist Philosophy, the Philosophy of Death and Life, and Chinese Philosophy.
